Rural Poly Pipes
Rural Polypipes is a HDPE (high density polyethylene pipe made with a green stripe for rural applications such as running water from one side of the farm to another. These pipes are often installed using a trench, however, in some situations, they can also be left above ground, saving on labour costs. Rural polyethlene pipes are manufactured according to imperial sizing, measured by the inside diameter in inches as opposed to the outside diameter.
Imperial B rural polypipes offer a cheaper alternative to rural communities and farmers than conventional metric blueline polyethelene pipes, where the pressure of the application is generally 630kpa or under. Rural polypipes come with a Warranty often that is less than the 7 year warranty that comes with a blueline polypipe. Polypipes often last 50 plus years of service life and are a sustainable recyclable product.
Rural Poly Fittings
Joining Polypipe is a simple method, using a hacksaw, mallet, and your hands you can join polypipe easily with their relevant size of imperial B fittings. High performance plastics provide great UV and corrosion resistance as well as impact resistance. A large variety of fittings are available to suit all sizes of the imperial range and even adaptors are available to transition to Metric sizes if required. Fittings also come with long term warranties as they are built to last in Australian conditions.
