Stormwater Pipes
Stormwater Pipes are considered a PVC Pipe designed for your use in non-pressure applications such as the capture of Stormwater and diversion of stormwater to the relevant drain to avert rain damage to your property. It is important that the PVC stormwater pipe is of durable quality and is enhanced with stabilizers that protect the pipe from long term damage from exposure to UV sunlight. Stormwater pipes are a lightweight, cost effective solution that can work with the aesthetics of the house when decorated in an appropriate paint makeover.
Stormwater pipes are 100% recyclable and can be joined easily with appropriate fittings. There is a range of sizes available in the stormwater range, generally from 75mm to 300mm in diameter. Pipes are made to AS/NZ 1254 and tested accordingly. The stormwater range can be used for a variety of applications such as above or below ground to carry running water off surfaces so that it does not penetrate the surface. Roofs, driveways, roads, creeks, and natural water bodies are some examples of their usages.
Stormwater Fittings
Stormwater Fittings such as couplings, elbows, tees, reducing couplings are made to suit their relevant size of pipe. Often these types of fittings are injection moulded in the manufacturing process, whilst some larger fittings may be fabricated from their relevant pipe size.
